Christmas Memories
It's hard to believe Christmas has come and gone! Hope you all had a wonderful, memorable holiday with family and friends. We had a quite Christmas with just our little family of five. It snowed on Wednesday (12/23) and kept on snowing, so we did have a White Christmas. It was nice to look out the window and see fluffy white snow on Christmas, it's the only time of year I love to see snow!
It was so fun to watch the kids and Ty keep track of where Santa was. They would check the computer about every 45/1hour just to see where Santa had landed. Loved seeing the expressions on my kids faces as daddy clicked on different areas around the world to see if Santa had visited there. They were so excited they couldn't wait for santa to come to our house, but that meant going to bed.
Christmas morning we all were up early as the kids were ready to open gifts from Santa and see what they got in their stockings! After stocking and gifts were opened, off to the kitchen to enjoy my homemade cinnamon rolls.
As a tradition in our house on Christmas morning, we have cinnamon rolls and the kids get to drink hot chocolate with marshmallows. (coffee for me and Ty) They love being able to drink hot coco for breakfast, it's such a special treat for them.
All in all, we had a peaceful, relaxing Christmas and look forward to the New Year!

Santa Share
I'm so excited about our Santa photo's this year!!! Our little guy finally sat on Santa's lap!!! Yeah! He was so excited to see Santa, and mommy was so excited to finally get a picture of him with santa. I can't wait to add our new photo's in my Santa hat mini album.
I'm finally done Christmas shopping!!! The grandparents gifts have been sent, the cookies have been baked, the kids are out for holiday break and I'm looking forward to scrapping again! But first I have to wrap all the gifts and finish up the grandparents 2010 calendars, then I can scrap!!!
I hope you are having a wonderful December filled with many blessings!

Gingerbread Mini Album Share
I came across this cute little gingerbread man album at Michaels awhile back. I knew right away that I wanted to use this album to display our yearly gingerbread houses. I thought this would be a cute way to capture the memories instead of making multiple 12 x 12 layouts each year. I hope you enjoy the video and that it inspires you to think of a way to capture your holiday traditions.

Stamp Happy!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I found these stamp today! I purchased all of these stamps for only $5! I am still so excited about this amazing find! The stamps are by inkadinkado and they originally retail for $7.99 each. I paid .99 cents for each one at Tuesday Morning! That's a $35 savings!!! I am extremely excited about the vintage ladies with the camera that say's "smiling right back at you". I can't wait to use it on a scrapbook page.
Be sure to check out your Tuesday Morning!

Confessions of a Messy Scrapper!
My name is Leslie and I make a mess when I scrapbook!
I've been busy the past few days putting together a birthday gift for a good friend. She doesn't know this, but she is getting a completed mini with photos from her birthday party. (unless she is reading this now)
We celebrated her 40th birthday the night before Halloween and had such a blast with all our wonderful friends. She had no clue our "costume party" was actually her surprise 40th RIP Party. Yes, you read that right. My friends have this tradition of throwing these fun 40th surprise parties and including a RIP coffin. This mini coffin gets passed around from friend to friend. Everyone who gets it has wrote their name in it as well as added an item to represent growing old.
As you can see from my photo, it can get a little messy in my scrap room when I'm working on a project. But it's all for a good cause! LOL!! I usually get to a point when I have to stop and clean up before I can start creating again. That picture was taken right before I decided it was time to clean!
I'll be posting pictures of the RIP album as soon as I get it finished, so make sure to check back soon.

Death by Chocolate
It's funny how life can get so busy! I remember thinking when my husband and I took our trip to Hawaii, life just seemed to slow down. Maybe because I wasn't waking up early starting my day running kids to and from school, taking kids to after school activities and still trying to do all my normal wife/mom stuff. I'm not feeling that well, might possible have an infection, but life must go on. All three of my kiddos aren't feeling 100% either, nothing serious, just dry coughs. Maybe some Chocolate will help...
I did manage to find some time to make these super cute candy bars.
Chocolate Mummy, AKA: Death by Chocolate
I got this idea from a youtube video I watched by Paper Jewels. These are super cute and super easy to make. I just bought a box of Hershey Milk Chocolate candy bars, wrapped them with white streamers, inked alittle on the streamers to make them look aged, added two wiggle eyes, than added a tag I made. So fun and so easy! I'll be giving these as gifts to the kids teachers along with some other goodies.

Wondering where I've been?
I've been in Hawaii with my wonderful husband, celebrating our 15 year Anniversary!!!
We had such a relaxing and fun time in Hawaii, we spent nine wonderful days on two Islands. We flew to Kona and stayed there for five days then flew to Kauai for four days. We explored as much as possible taking in all the amazing sites. A few of the things we did were snorkeling, mountain biking on Kilauea Volcano, touring the Na pali Coast and just spending time together enjoying ourselves and relaxing at the beaches.
After spending the day touring the Kilauea Volcano and wine tasting, I found a flyer advertising a local scrapbook store in Hilo. So of course I had to check it out. I was looking for something unique that I couldn't find at my local craft stores. I looked around and found a lot of the same items along with many papers made in Hawaii, but I wasn't really wanting to transfer paper back home. I didn't leave with much in hand, but I did come across a few items I was quite pleased with. I purchased a small plumeria flower wooden stamp which was made in Honolulu, along with two packs of precut dies, fern leaves and some luau dancers. I did buy one item by imaginisce, a small clear flower stamp I hadn't seen at my local craft stores. I received a couple "free" dies for spending over $10 as a bonus. I also managed to collect some odds and ends during our trip to add to my album, which will give it a more unique look and feel.
I usually scrap our vacations 12x12 or 8x8, but I'm leaning towards making two mini's, one for each Island we visited. I'm excited to start creating but still have a few more items I'm needing to purchase. I might also post a video when I'm done, so make sure to check back.
Thanks for stopping by!

Haunted House Mini
I've been in the Fall mood lately, so I decided I would create a mini book for "this" Halloween. I love preplanning when it comes to creating theme albums, especially mini's. All I have to do now is wait for Halloween, take a ton of pictures, then decided which ones to add to my mini.
I had a lot of fun creating this album and I look forward to filling it with all our "SPOOKY" memories.
Be sure to check out my youtube video below. Leave me a comment here on my blog and let me know what you think.
***Be sure to turn Off my music player to hear the video***
