"Something WICKED this Way Comes" I Am Roses "September" Challenge

Are you ready for a super fun Challenge from I Am Roses this month?

The challenge for this month is to create a circle card with a Halloween theme. Be sure to stop by the I Am Roses blog for more details on how to enter the challenge.

Here is my inspiration for the challenge.

I created my circle card by first cutting out the base of the circle from my cricut. I decided to use the Magic of Oz from G45 as my pattern paper which also set the theme for my card. I wanted to create some texture on my card in the background, so I used my chicken wire stencil and some Lindy stamp gang strays. I added a fun green lace trim around the edge of my card that also gave it texture. I then fussy cut out some images from the pattern paper and begin creating this fun Halloween circle card.

I've had the "something Wicked this way comes" stamp for quite a while and knew this would be the perfect time to use it. I stamped the saying onto a piece of canvas and attached to a banner I created out of the paper collection. I also cut strips of canvas and tied them around the black and white straw which holds up the banner on the card.

In this months design team package I received fall colored daisies. I was excited to find a variety of colors which worked very well with the theme of my card. I added some bronze stickles to the centers of the daisies to give them a little sparkle. I also added in fall colored leaves from I am roses in browns and green tones.
Be sure to check out all the beautiful daisies I Am Roses has in stock including the ones I used on my card.
Daisies I used: Mix browns & Mixed Brown/Orange
Leaves I used: Mixed Brown Maple Leaves

Here is a look at the inside of my card.
